January 13 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Seattle Chapter of
International Association for Near Death Experiences presents:
"All in the Family"
January 13, 1:30 - 4:00
Wallingford Community Senior Center (WCSC) in the Good Shepherd Center at 4649 Sunnyside Ave. N., Suite 140, Seattle, WA 98103-6900
Ingeborg Siller (not pictured above) was a 13 year old girl at the end of World War II in what had been Nazi Germany when she had a near-death experience at the hands of an American soldier—literally. While walking to town to buy supplies for the farm which was harboring her refugee family, she was choked to death by the soldier. Her NDE was peaceful, vivid, deeply spiritual, and tells a profound tale of forgiveness as well. According to Inge, it also was an event that led, years later, to giving birth to a daughter, Elke, with psychic and spiritual gifts.
Now a grown woman with grown children of her own, daughter Elke Siller Macartney has always been a sensitive soul. Prone to deep empathy, she experiences the world as a colorful pallet of auras around everyone—including animals and plants. She uses her gift as a counselor, healer and spiritual teacher. Her practice has led her to meet hundreds of NDEr's, helping them to ground and thrive after their profound experiences. One of those NDEr's is her husband Jim.
Jim Macartney is a retired vocational rehabilitation counselor and author of the excellent book Crisis to Creation: Our Power of Choice. Through stories of crises, he demonstrates the incredible gifts that a crisis can bring to a person’s life. In the book he includes his own NDE as a crisis to creation moment.
Elke was present for his death due to Gran Mal seizure and cardiac arrest in 1997. While performing CPR on him, she also saw his spirit in a corner of their bedroom and called him back down to his body. Years later, after 3 subsequent death events, including cardiac arrest and catastrophic stroke, he is still on a creation path. And Elke has also learned the path of caregiver and partner in the healing process.
All three have something to share for this New Year. Join us for what is truly a family affair.
